The Peloton Project Stars and Stripes Challenge, presented by Amgen

The Palmetto Peloton Project (P3) exists to promote the advancement of cancer research and advocacy efforts locally, regionally and nationally through fund-raising fitness events.

P3 will hold the Stars and Stripes Challenge, presented by Amgen, a 22-mile recreational ride immediately before the USA Cycling Professional Championships Road Race.

Participants raise or donate $50 to enter the ride, but many don't stop there. Raising money for cancer research becomes a mission for many cyclists. Last year's highest individual fundraiser contributed almost $5,000.
